Office Policies
Same Day Appointments
A limited number of same day appointments are available for urgent care. These patients will be worked-in between our regularly scheduled patients.
Missed Appointments
Should you find it necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you give the office at least one business day notice in advance. Failure to do so will result in a $25 missed appointment fee.
Late Policy
Patients who arrive more than 10 minutes late for an appointment may either be seen on a work-in basis that day or be asked to reschedule.
Payment
As a courtesy, Marietta Medical Group will file your insurance. Co-payments and deductibles will be collected at the time of service. If no payment is received, there will be a $20 billing fee. Bring your current insurance card to each visit. We accept personal checks with a current drivers license, cash, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
Returned Checks
If a personal check is returned for any reason, a $25 service fee will be charged to the patient's account.
Prescription Refills
If approved, refills will be called-in within 2 business days of your request. The office will notify you if the request is denied.
Medical Records
We require a written authorization for our patients to send medical records to another office. There is an administration fee for copying the records based on the size of the file. Once payment is received, records are usually sent-out within 2 weeks.
